The Haig-Brown House Bed and Breakfast features three bedrooms for up to seven guests. There are two shared bathrooms, one with full bath, one with shower. The murmur of the river can be heard from the rooms overlooking the peaceful grounds. Depending on the number of guests, a private bathroom may be reserved. Enjoy the peaceful setting of this historic farmhouse where author conservationist Roderick Haig-Brown wrote his world-renowned books. Inside the former family home, thousands of books line the walls of the study in which many of the writer’s famous works were penned. |

The charming apple-green room, once occupied by Haig-Brown daughters Valerie and Mary, has views to the front yard driveway and northward to the orchard and woods. The room has both a double and a single bed, and contains built-in furniture handmade by Roderick Haig-Brown. |
