Starting February 5, writing workshops will be offered at the Museum with writer in residence Danny Ramadan. Workshops will be held for both beginner and advanced writers.
Writing 101: How to write your first sentence!
In this two hours workshop, Danny Ramadan will lead you through a discussion on some of the best first sentences ever written in the English language, and give you some heads up on how to write your own. In the second half of the workshop, Ramadan will lead you on a conversation regarding Point of View, and how to pick the right POV for your fiction.
Advanced Writing: how to structure a novel!
In this two hours workshop, Danny Ramadan will show you how he structured his next novel, The Foghorn Echoes, and share lessons he learned about creating a road map for a novel and taking it from idea to an actualized book. The workshop will be conversational, so please do come with your own ideas for your next novel/short story.
The workshops are $35 each per person. For more information and to register, call the Museum at 250-287-3103 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
